Angels of Assisi receives $12K donation

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Angels of Assisi is the beneficiary of a huge gift.

Workers of Readerlink Distribution Services in Salem raised more than $12,000 over the previous year for the non-benefit cover.

The cash will go toward food and lodging costs for the creatures, just as, preparing and vet expenses.

"It implies such a huge amount to us that this association and our local area considers us to give to and to help the creatures all through the local area," said Dayna Reynolds with Angels of Assisi. "It's truly significant for the creatures so they get another opportunity at a permanent spot to settle down."
